Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A stout, epiphytic orchid. It has a drooping, slightly pendulous growth form.  
Foliage The leaves are obtuse and unequally bilobed. 
Stems The stem is short and stout and brancheIt has a drooping growth form. 
Flowers The flowers are highly variable in flower shape, size and colour. The densely flowered inflorescence is racemose and originates from the leaf axils. The flowers have pink petals and sepals, the flower spur is bent forward. The flowers are fragrant.
Habitat It can be found from sea level to 500m in altitude. 
Cultivation It is best grown under light shade and grown in free-draining growing medium or mounted.
