Centre for Education and Outreach

The Education Branch of the Singapore Botanic Gardens promotes nature appreciation and environmental education in the Gardens through offering educational programmes to school children, educators, gardening enthusiasts, communities and corporations.

The roles of Education Branch in the Singapore Botanic Gardens are:

  • To connect people and plants
  • To increase awareness, appreciation and public knowledge for plants and nature, and conservation of our environment through quality educational programmes 

Educational Programmes are carried out around the Gardens, including classrooms at the Centre for Education and Outreach, Botany Centre and Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden.
